In the present volume, Adrienne von Speyr meditates on the scriptural narratives concerning three women associated with Jesus: Mary Magdalene, the woman who was a sinner (Lk 7:36-50), and Mary of Bethany. Adrienne devotes a chapter to each in turn, highlighting her subject’s exemplification of one of the theological virtues: faith (Magdalene), hope (the sinful woman), and love (Mary of Bethany).
